Evander Holyfield is convinced he can win back the world heavyweight title at the age of 42.
The former champion has been urged to quit the ring after losing his last two fights.
But the veteran - stopped for the first time in his 47-fight career by James Toney 14 months ago - insists he can reach the top again.
Holyfield meets Larry Donald in a non-title match at Madison Square Garden on November 13 and said: "I am not concerned with what people are saying and I know why I do what I do.
"Since 1992 when I lost to Riddick Bowe I have been saying that I want to come back to be undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
