Boxing: Arthur makes Docherty challenge

Alex Arthur has challenged Craig Docherty to an inter-city Scottish showdown in December.

The Edinburgh fighter retained his IBF Intercontinental super-featherweight title against Eric Odumasi on Friday.

The 26-year-old now wants a crack at Glasgow's Craig Docherty, who recently lost his bid for the European title.

"The British title is lying vacant and all I need is Docherty to go for it," said Arthur. "Let's go Docherty - let's do it."
