Boxing: Calzaghe caught in weigh-in brawl

WBO super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe was embroiled in a scuffle at the weigh-in for Friday's fight with Kabary Salem in Edinburgh.

Calzaghe scaled dead on the 12st limit with Salem two ounces lighter, but the challenger's camp disputed the reading, saying the Welshman was heavier.

That prompted the champion to grapple with Salem's trainer Nettles Nasser before the latter was ejected.

WBO official Ivan Kovac says no further action will be taken over the incident.
