The fight hadn't even started, and Felix Trinidad couldn't hold back his excitement. It had been over two years since he had felt the moment, heard his fans slather their adulation all over him while his insides buzzed with the nerves and anticipation that told him it was time to head into battle.
The smile was insuppressible and he couldn't restrain himself from shouting his own name in concert with ring announcer Michael Buffer.
Trinidad raised his right fist above his head, cocked his head back and proclaimed his return: "Felix 'Tito' Trinidad! Whoooo!"
Over the next 30 minutes Saturday night, an ear-ringing Madison Square Garden crowd of 17,406 stood up and reveled all around him. Chants of "Ti-to! Ti-to!" filled the air, and Puerto Rico flags waved in exultation while Trinidad massacred the hearty Ricardo Mayorga in a scintillating bout.

Nice return for Tito, wasn't sure if this was a good choice of opponent but what a finish.
Glad to see him back.

It's just good to have one of the GENIUNE stars back and looking like a boxer still.

Tito El Presidante!
We never get behind our sports stars like that in England. It's always criticism in the papers.

Yeah i agree on that, once in awhile we do it but it dies down within a week. When you pick up the paper alot of it is slagging football players, sportsmen- women and teams alot of the time.
