Boxing: Team Johnson taunts rival Calzaghe

The close knit team around IBF light heavyweight champion Glen Johnson is feeling on top of the world following their crushing, Earth-shaking KO of Roy Jones Junior here on Saturday night.

With the nine round beat down and frightening KO of the former pound-for-pound king, the softly spoken Jamaican-American pic by Mr Will and his camp can now look forward to lucrative, high-profile showdowns with the likes of Antonio Tarver and Bernard Hopkins - a far cry from where they were a year ago.

Yet it seems they are still smarting that WBO super-middleweight champ Joe Calzaghe pulled out of their showdown in the summer. After a previous postponement Calzaghe pulled out on a week's notice in June with a back injury - which enraged Johnson to the point where he refused to reschedule no matter how much money was offered by Calzaghe's promoters Sports Network.
