Former WBO middleweight champion Felix Sturm scored an impressive 12 round points win over American Robert Frazier in Leverkusen, Germany earlier tonight. All the three judges made the 25 year-old German the clear winner by 117-111, 119-109 and 116-112.
Sturm, who lost his WBO crown in controversial circumstances earlier this year against boxing idol Oscar De La Hoya, boxed sensibly in winning the vacant WBO Intercontinental middleweight title.
The Universum Box promoted fighter will seek out the winner of tonight's super-fight between De La Hoya and pound for pound great Bernard Hopkins.
