Boxing: Hopkins appreciates journey to top

LAS VEGAS -- Bernard Hopkins has finally reached his promised land, and he doesn't mind telling anyone who will listen about his struggle to get there.

"There" is to the biggest fight of his career, a $10 million-plus payday to defend the undisputed middleweight title against Oscar De La Hoya in boxing's version of the Super Bowl on Saturday night at the MGM Grand (9 ET, HBO PPV; $54.95).
