Boxing: Harrison facing surgery

Audley Harrison is to undergo surgery on his hand, after damaging a ligament in his finger during training.

As a result, Harrison has pulled out of his next fight - against an un-named opponent - on 13 November.

"I was off to a great start with three fights back-to-back," he said. "Now it is one disappointment after another.

"I'm looking forward to putting an end to 2004. However, I have always said 2005 would be the year I go for it and that's what I plan to do."
