Wayne Alexander and Takaloo will finally meet on Friday when they go head-to-head for the WBU light-middleweight title.
Alexander says he is so confident of victory he will retire if he loses the bout, which was due to happen in May until Alexander suffered a knee injury.
There is a history of ill-feeling between the pair, with Takaloo claiming Alexander has been disrespectful.
"It's personal between us and is deeper than professional rivalry," he said.
