Boxing: Margarito shaping up for Santos rematch

The first time Antonio Margarito stepped into the ring in a world title fight it was July 21 2001 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and the hometown of his opponent Daniel Santos who was then the WBO welterweight champion.

That bout did not last long -two minutes and eleven seconds to be exact-because a clash of heads in the very first round opened a big gash over Margarito's right eye and the bout was stopped and declared a no contest.
