Boxing: Lovemore Ndou challenges Ricky Hatton

With Ricky Hatton's shot at WBA junior welterweight champion Vivian Harris falling through after the American declined promoter Frank Warren's offer, Australian based South African Lovemore Ndou has stepped up and issued a challenge to the "Hitman".

"Ricky, I'll come to your backyard in Manchester and fight you on October 2," said Ndou on Sunday in Sydney. "We can make this fight happen and the winner can become the mandatory IBF No.1 contender and fight the winner of Kostya Tszyu vs. Sharmba Mitchell II."
