In a BoxingScene exclusive, BoxingScene catches up with Mike Tyson to get a few moments of his time in order to get the lowdown on when Iron Mike will be back.

BoxingScene: What went wrong in your fight with Danny Williams? Was it the knee? Training problems? Rust?

Tyson: I had a good camp, I had good sparring partners....I was physically and mentally prepared for the fight. I got a bit anxious in the first round (when he hurt Williams) and hurt my knee. After that....I couldnt throw my right hand.

While most experts feel that Mike Tyson is done, Tyson and his camp expect him back by the end of the year.

As long as Tyson gets his a$$ handed to him when he fights, I don't care whether he comes back or not. However, if he comes back, he has no shot at the title or anything really important, so why bother?

He needs the money. Plain and simple.

How the hell is he going to get money?

All the big deals that was on the table have had the plug pulled on them and they are not going to be there if he comes back. He would have to have 4 or 5 fights for as little as $100,000 a fight before anyone would touch him with a big deal. And that is only if he won them all.

Tyson is finished once and for all.

The only boxing Tyson is going to be doing is probably celebrity boxing. Maybe Tyson vs. Carl Lewis, or OJ, or both.

the fight that i would like to see would be iron mike versus tanya harding...i would pay to see them knock each other silly (sillier?) they wouldn't even need to hire judges for this one, they are both losers

I was thinking that myself. I don't think Tyson would do it, just in case he loses. You've got to remember the Gillooly factor.

Thats what he says, but who knows. He lost, he's embarassed, maybe its an excuse. He still fought 3 more rounds after the injury.
