Robert Wiggins, a fourth round stoppage loser to Derek Bryant back in June 2002, gained sweet revenge at the Silverton Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas Saturday night with a unanimous eight round points win.
Bryant was down in round five as all three judges scored for East Providence heavyweight Wiggins by scores of 78-73 twice and 77-74.
The Joe DeGuardia Star Boxing Promotions card also saw former UFC fighter Marvin Eastman make a successful professional debut when he scored a fourth round tko win over Willie Broadie.
