A knee injury has forced Howard Eastman to withdraw from the mandatory defence of his European middleweight crown.
Eastman had originally been scheduled to meet Jorge Sendra at the Derby Storm Arena in late November but the bout now looks likely to be rescheduled
for early next year.
And Hennessy Sports stablemate Carl Froch has stepped into the breach as the bill-topping attraction, although his opponent is yet to be named.
Super-middleweight Froch, the first English fighter to claim a world senior amateur championship medal, is now keen to make a name for himself in the
professional game.
