Boxing: Boxing: Ottke to meet the �Executioner�?

The management team of dual super middleweight champion Sven Ottke will meet with Don King next week to discuss a possible match up between the 36-year-old German and middleweight champ Bernard Hopkins. Ottke was a winner on last nights card in Magdeburg, Germany where he defended both his WBA and IBF 12 stone titles against Englishman David Starie.

Hopkins has been linked with a series of big money fights in the past against the likes of Joe Calzaghe and James Toney but his irrational approach at the negotiation table has always been a major stumbling block to making the fights happen.

Ive noticed that. Money seems to always be the issue.

Yep i cant blame them as its their profession and they need to earn as much as possible..But you cant keep going round in circles some of these fights need to happen or people will get bored in the top fighters going in the ring with Bums...!!

Hopkins has priced himself out of all his recent offers, I guess he will take this fight as there isn't anywhere else he can go unless he drops his asking price!
