A French court of appeal has dropped charges against French rider Cedric Vasseur in the Cofidis doping case. Vasseur, 34, has always pleaded his
innocence in the case, in which Briton David Millar, Frenchman Philippe Gaumont and Italian Massimiliano Lelli have also been charged. All except
Vasseur have admitted taking various doping substances, from EPO to coc aine. Vasseur was barred from starting last July's Tour de France because
of the charges against him.
