Olympic Sports: ny stadium proposal rejected

it looks like the stadium proposed for the west side of new york city is in serious trouble, a state board rejected the plan that would hve used 300 million dollars of public funding for the 2 billion dollar profect, without the stadium the city's bid for the 2012 olympics is all but dead, the stadium would have also been used by the new york jets.....

Too bad, I was hoping that the City would have a decent shot at the Olympics, this is definately going to hurt NYC's chances. Apparently, there is still some hope, maybe this Mr. Silver will get the answers that he is looking for from the Mayor.
