Former Great Britain prop Darren Fleary is the latest recruit for Super League newcomers Leigh Centurions.
The 31-year-old former Leeds front rower, who captained his hometown team Huddersfield this year, has signed a 12-month contract and becomes Leigh
coach Darren Abram's sixth new signing since his side secured promotion a fortnight ago.
"I have spoken to Darren and find what he has planned for the club very exciting," said Fleary. "It is a very exciting time for Leigh and I am looking
forward to the challenge ahead."
Meanwhile, full-back Neil Turley, the Centurions' record-breaking points-scorer, is the latest of the club's existing players to go full-time.
"This is a dream come true to play in Super League, especially with Leigh," he said. "We have worked hard for the last few years and to finally be
part of the team in Super League X is fantastic."
