Gloucester have signed Tongan winger Seti Kiole until the end of the season.
The pacy Kiole, a cousin of New Zealand star Jonah Lomu, is a powerful, has three full caps for Tonga.
The 24-year-old has been playing his rugby for South Canterbury in New Zealand's NPC for the last five years.
Kiole approached Gloucester for an opportunity to impress, and showed his talent against Saracens and fellow Tongan Tevita Vaikona in a Zurich 'A'
League game just over a week ago, including a brace of touchdowns.
Director of rugby Nigel Melville said: "We were pretty cautious when we received his CV but felt we needed to check him out.
"His sprint times were pretty exceptional but we needed to know whether he could pass, tackle and read the game.
"Everything he has done so far has impressed us. It helped he was already training with us. He is a direct cousin of Jonah Lomu and runs very upright
just like him."
