ABERDEEN GRAMMAR 23-27 HERIOT'S
HERIOT’S took a big step towards getting their title hopes back on track, but had to hold off a storming final ten minutes from a gritty Aberdeen Grammar side.
Having raced into a 19-3 half-time lead the Edinburgh visitors looked to be cruising to an easy away victory but were stunned by a skilled home performance.
An interception try from wing Marc Teague in eight minutes got Heriot’s off to a flying start and a second try was scored by left wing Andrew Wilson in 19 minutes. The two splendid conversions from Ander Monro adding to home misery and Mike Lewis added to the advantage two minutes from half-time.
