Rugby, Australian Football: QUINS OLD GUARD STEELED FOR BATTLE

Harlequins, one of the biggest clubs in the English game, found themselves at the wrong end of the Zurich Premiership table after three games, without a win to show for their efforts.

The Rugby Club went to The Stoop to gauge the mood and found a group of senior pros who will not take a backward step in their efforts to heave the multi-coloured shirts up the ladder.

Quins have been struggling, but skipper Andre Vos said he has no doubts that the squad is strong enough to battle their way up the table: "There are guys who are determined and give 100 per cent. It's not going to be impossible to turn the season around."
