Iestyn Harris confirmed his much-anticipated return to rugby league but the row over his contract status looked set to continue.
Harris sparked anger last month when he cut ties with the Welsh Rugby Union a year early and controversy has followed him to Bradford, where he was
this afternoon unveiled as a Bulls player.
The 28-year-old has agreed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Tetley's Super League champions but news of his signing enraged rivals Leeds, who
claimed they had first option on his services.
Harris left Leeds for rugby union in August 2001 but the club say they had an agreement in place whereby he would revert to being their player on his
return to league. Bradford had previously denied they were courting the player.
