Football: Robbie Savage to miss England clash

Robbie Savage will definitely miss Wales' World Cup qualifying clash with England through suspension, the Football Association of Wales have confirmed.

The FAW have received official confirmation from FIFA that Savage must serve a one match ban after his sending-off against Northern Ireland last month.

FAW spokesman Ceri Stennett said: "It has been confirmed that Robbie will serve a one match ban. It could have been heavier, but we would have been disappointed if it had, and we would have no doubt protested.
