Danny Mills believes Leeds may be forced to sell goalkeeper Paul Robinson if they are to keep Mark Viduka and Harry Kewell at Elland Road.

With debts of around 78m, manager Peter Reid knows he will be forced to sell one of his top stars this summer.

Kewell has been tipped to be the first out of the exit door, possibly to Manchester United, while the Australian's strike partner Viduka has also been linked with a departure.

But Leeds right-back Mills, himself the subject of reported interest from Chelsea, thinks it would be better for the long-term future of the club if Robisnon was sold because former England keeper Nigel Martyn could easily step into the fray.

Robinson has been linked with United and Arsenal, who on the look-out for a replacement for Manchester City-bound David Seaman, and Mills said: "If we do have to sell anyone then it would be best for the team if Paul Robinson was the one allowed to go. Although he has done a great job for us this season and is undoubtedly an England keeper of the future, we already have the ideal replacement in Nigel Martyn.

He added in Shoot magazine: "But if Harry Kewell or Mark Viduka was allowed to go, they would be extremely difficult to replace."

Paul Robinson is a great keeper and do well in any side...

I could see this as a mass selling spree as they need to get their debt down,if they dont they could well be in trouble...

Also if they struggle this season it would finish them off.

I think they will do OK with Reid in charge, but long gone are the days of big spending at Leeds.
