(anchor) welcome dale, is there any idea what this press conference is about

(dale) thanks, there is rumour that a senior Al-quaeda member has been captured.

(anchor) ok the president has just walked into the pressroom, we'll talk to you again in a few minutes.

(Pres bush) Ladies and gentlemen, today we have succeded in our goal of captureing Osama Bin Laden, we didnt relent when we were attacked in Afganistan, we regrouped and went back stronger than ever.

it might have taken us 3 years, but we have succeded.

three days ago our elite delta force soldiers captured, leader and financier of the terror group Al-quaeda, Osama Bin Laden.

he is now in custody in an undesclosed location in our country. soon we will give reporters and news agencies the oportunity too see and even interview Bin laden.

We have succeded in our War Against Terror, now we must go on and rebuild our country, back to the strength of before September 11 2001,
we have suffered many blows at home and abroad during the last 3 years, but all has not been in vain.

(dale) yes, this amazing news has come at a time it was needed most by our country, we have been through alot in the last 3 yea..............

[reporter sees large explosion in distance]

(dale)Oh my god are you getting this

(anchor) yes we can see, but the picture is breaking up

[camera pans to very large fire in the direction of the pentagon]

(dale) Um, oh my god, i cant explain what i have just whitnessed.

(anchor) what did you see

(dale) a large streak of light through the sky then a large explosion in the direction of the pentagon.

(anchor) we are going to a short break while we get more information about this breaking news

ah, first the president revealed that Osama Bin Laden has been captured

and then while we were talking to our reporter on the scen outside the whitehouse a large explosion was seen in the direction of the pentagon.

now we go back to our reporter Dale Pembrook who is in washington at the moment

dale are you there

(dale) yes, i cannot believe what we are seeing, we are at the moment driving towards the scene of this large fire.

(anchor) ok we will come back to you in a couple of minuetes.

[ turns to news reader ] what is you take on this situtation

(news reader) well im not shure what is happening but it does bring back many, many bad memories.

(anchor) ok we are back with our man on the streets Dale Pembrook

(dale) yes, we are here on the scene of this amazing event

[camera (from heli) shows 2 / 3rds of the pentagon on fire]

um this is just, huge this fire, we are hearing lots of helicopters over head, including one of our own. we dont know what happened.
as i said earlier, i saw a bright streak across the sky and then a large explosion at which we now know was the paentagon, im not shure if any one was killed and/or injured but we do know that there was apparently a few thousand staff still there.

(anchor) we are going back to the whitehouse for a statement from the president.

(pres bush) We have once again seen the terror that can befall us, eventhough we have their leader in our custody, they still are strong.

we havent had any communication with these evil people, as of yet, but we are endevouring to find out exactly who did this and how they managed to do it.

of course these are not officially confirmed, and we are endevouring too get pictures and confirmation. we should have them in the next few minuetes

(dale) hello, we are live at the pentagon where an attack has befalled our country once again.

i am going to interview a few eyewitnesses

sir did you see what happened

(sir) yeah, i saw a huge flash then fire going up into the air.

(dale) thank you sir, maam what did you see

(maam) i saw some light in the sky, then some fire. then i rang the fire dept'

(anchor) dale im gonna have to interrupt you now we have some more news

(dale) ok

(anchor) we now have more reports coming in from

Dallas
san fransisco
and las vegas

and we have confirmation that

in New york, the stock exchange has been hit by a large gas tanker truck laden with explosives and of course gas.

we also have confirmation that an aeroplane has crashed in the middle of los angeles

and that the seers tower has been bombed and it has also collapsed.

we will soon have pictures of those.

also in san fransisco, the golden gate bridge and the civic center have been attacked we dont know to what extent but we know it has happened.
