WWE: Joey Styles Hart news

-Joey Styles had been working on a week-to-week deal with WWE for his first several weeks as host of Raw, while taking vacation time from his full-time sales job in Georgia. He has now been offered and accepted the job as the permanent host of Raw, with a deal to be inked shortly. Styles didn't even know week to week at first whether he'd be asked back the following week until he received a phone during the week from WWE to book another flight, but from all indications, Vince McMahon has been pleased with Styles on and off air.

-Bret Hart will be promoting his WWE DVD on "The Big Deal with Donny Deutsch" this evening on CNBC at 10 p.m. ET. The preview of the show made it sound as if he'd be talking about the "dark side of pro wrestling." [Thanks to PWTorch.com reader Randy]

-TSN Completely censored off the late replay of Raw in Canada the Maria-Kurt Angle segment, due to the violence of Men-on-Women that the CRTC perfers to keep off of the air. It only appeared once on the live edition of Raw, but never made any of the replays that WWE showed as well as not being shown on the TSN shortened version (two hour on the dot, so no overrun or WWE advertisements).
