Basketball: Paul Pierce to Portland?

There has been speculation that Paul Pierce would be sent to Portland for this years overall #3 pick and Nick Van Exel according to Pierce's agent. My question is, what do you think about this deal?

I think the Celts would be crazy to do that. They picked up Toine again last season, who is a great compliment to Pierce and works well with him. Between them, Davis and the supporting cast, they've got a decent team that just needs a little fine-tuning.

Although Chris Paul could be the number 3 pick (if you look at NBA.com's 'averages') and that would be a nice pick-up...

I would have to agree. Paul Pierce would make or break Boston. I am thinking that it would break them!
