Basketball: Should Reggie stay one more season?

Just think, Indiana has had a winning record as of late and Reggie is getting back into his old form. Just think of this line-up:

PG Stephen Jackson
SG Reggie Miller
SF Ron Artest
PF Jermaine O'Neal
C Dale Davis

This is not how it would probably look like but just think of it that way. They, as of right now, have there bench coming out and giving good performances and you have your starters playing like all-stars. Indiana has been going back to there good form.

I don't want to get side tracked though. Should they have Reggie stay one more season and win a title. I think he should stay one more season because he could establish marks that only the best though that they could accomplish. His will to play, his nice shot, and his crazy antics need to be in Indiana. If you ask me, I think Indiana could actually win it next year if he came back. If he doesn't, I think they won't. Reggie was the core of that team.

Keeping Reggie would be a 100% positive for the team. Convince him to forget about retirement!

Yeah I think he should stay.

Because this team's title chances went down the drain after the brawl in Detroit.

Next year will be (you would think) Reggie's last chance with an actual full Pacers' squad, so yeah, come back one more year. Why not.

The rest of the guys aredefinately there? If so, then maybe Reg would stay. But if not, don't even think about it. He has been one of my favorite NBA players for many years, and I would love for him to get that elusive ring, but not stick around for mediocrity.

I think it would be a good idea because he wouldn't have to go to another team and sell out to get the ring. He can take the team he grew up loving and playing for and actually help them out. Who know, Reggie the new Micheal in the playoffs? I think Reggie has a better shooting touch when it comes to playoff finals. He just hasn't had the backup!

i thought he was going to be done for good and not goto another team. Once a player says he is done he should keep it thtat way

He is not going to another team. He said he was retiring after this season and he would rather retire with the Pacers than being traded at the end of his career!
