Well they can make a playoff run at it, but i always thought wallace was a good player, and could help out altana. Portland is by far a better team now.

Yeah but I think Rasheed's only going to be in Atlanta for the rest of this year and then he's going somewhere else since he's a free agent.

Isiah Thomas made yet another move Sunday in his transformation of the New York Knicks, trading Keith Van Horn to Milwaukee and acquiring Tim Thomas and Nazr Mohammed in a three-way deal that also involved Atlanta.

The Hawks acquired Michael Doleac from the Knicks and Joel Przybilla from Milwaukee. New York also sent a 2005 second-round draft pick to Atlanta.

It's the third trade made by Thomas, who has also changed coaches, since taking over as team president in late December. Only seven players who were with the Knicks then remain on their roster.

The Knicks could also make a move for Vin Baker, who was waived by the Boston Celtics on Friday. Isiah Thomas has expressed interest for the former All-Star forward, the New York Daily News reported. Baker is expected to clear waivers Wednesday, making him a free agent.

After the recent moves, Atlanta has only five players under contract beyond this season -- Doleac, Jason Terry, rookie Boris Diaw, Chris Crawford and Alan Henderson. Those players account for only about $21 million in salary, giving the Hawks -- in the final stages of being sold -- at least $20 million in salary cap room to pursue free agents in the offseason.

Don't really see any losers in this deal...Atlanta is clearing away salary space as expected, the Bucks get a little bit better rebounding and scoring presence (as well as depth at forward), and the Knicks get a bit more toughness (and possibly an improvement in team chemistry...Van Horn and Marbury weren't exactly friends....)

So the additions for NY are good ones?
