I'm still trying to get over the title.

Ignorance of the unknown.

Ignoring the unknown. Ignoring that of which you are unaware.

Having no knowledge of the unknown.

Sorry, I guess I overanalyse things sometimes.

Oconnection: Good start.

Don't miss:

What the ancient wisdom expects of its disciples, Manly P. Hall

The Spirit of Masonry, Foster Bailey. Pages 140, 143-145 are especially intriguing.

I see by some of the books you mention you are partial to works of fiction.

Here is a perfect list to keep you occupied over the festive season whilist waiting for the next Harry Potter instalment

The Hiram Key

The Tomb of god

Web Of Gold

The Second Messiah

The Secret Scroll

Rex Deus

The forgotten Monarchy of Scotland

Born in Blood

Blood line of the Holy Grail

The Head of God

The Holy place

I could go on and on, now as these books are quite expensive i colud save you a lot of time and money by telling you each and every ones conclusion

That there is some great Quasi Masonic Templar Secret that has been carried down the centurys and is hidden in the Degrees of Masonry today lol

Not one of these books has any physical evidence
to back up their claims.

Sheer speculation every last one but none the less excellent reading enjoy

Ps my favorite the Beano

By the way one work of fiction that is filled with ironry and sums up the likes of the above is the brilliant Umberto Eco`s Focault`s Pendulum

Enjoy

The natural human reaction to the unknown is apprehension or fear. And so it is that the profane are kept at arms length with tales of dogma & conspiracy.

I used to have an anti-Masonic stance until I began looking beyond the stories, and into other 'secret societies' (such as Sufis). The path to wisdom is strewn with good & bad causes & effects.

I have know a few Masons, some were not to my liking, while others have proved themselves to be very charitable & helpful (sometimes beyond the call of duty).

I have reason to mistrust some & champion others, just like all humans. Don't judge all Masons by the actions of a few bad apples.

BTW, I am not a Mason.

The only question I have for the original poster is, what exactly is the Craft?
