I hope Davis can go, a team is always more dangerous when they have options. Foster has shown he can handle the load, but Davis is a great running back and the two together make a heck of a backfield. The Eagles have had trouble stopping the run all season and if it continues this week, it will really open things up for Jake Delhomme.

I live about 10 minutes from the Linc and the weather is supposed to be awful tomorrow, light snow and/or freezing rain. The game doesn't start until 6:45, by then it should be around 18 degrees.

On a lighter note, the game is on Julius Pepper's birthday. Peppers is a former UNC Tarheel basketball standout but he has been an awesome defensive player for the Panthers and I'm looking for him to have a big game on his 24th birthday.

#90 Julius Peppers - Defensive End

They have 2 great backs and even if davis is ready to go, look for foster to have a big game.

Heck of a job by John Fox and his Carolina Panthers, from 1-15 to the SuperBowl in two years !!!

They beat both the Rams and Eagles in their own houses and definitely earned their spot representing the NFC in the Super Bowl!!!

GO PANTHERS !!!

It was nuts here last nite, y'all.
The good kind, tho. No rioting or any of that. Just a lot of REALLY excited people.
Yes, when the final seconds ticked down, people were partying in the streets ... you could hear car horns blaring & ppl screaming.
Everyone's kind of stunned today. Hell, we were 1-15 just 2 years ago, no one can quite believe we're going to the big game for real.
I love it, I finally have a home team I can root for in the Super Bowl!

Yeah excellent win for the Panthers way to go!

I had that sneaky feeling that they was going to get through as i posted in other threads.I managed to watch the game with ProudAmerican giving me some running commentry from over the pond aswell as the UK was on a time delay.

Its a great achievement just to get to the final..

yes it is, and it helped that Davis was able to play and mix up the running attack with Foster and Davis, they are a pair of RB's to be reconkend with.

I knew the panthers would win, its the curse of the eagles to not move on.

No one is giving Carolina a chance against the Patriots. I'm sure they're not worried, everyone said the same thing when they played the Rams and Eagles.

John Fox has done one hell of a job with this team. You also have to give alot of credit to Jake Delhomme who started the season as the backup and is now leading his team to the big dance. Kudos also to the defense for their strong play all year, and especially Sunday holding the Eagles to 3 points in their own house in the NFC Championship game, that's HUGE!!!

GO PANTHERS!!!

I'm sure everyone remembers this awesome run by DeShaun Foster:

I member that run. I am looking for a close match-up between these two teams, the 2 weeks off gives the Panthers time to rest there RB's and get a solid defensive game-plan ready.
