The New Orleans Saints took their second player from the University of Georgia, selecting offensive lineman Jon Stinchcomb 37th overall.

One of the more intriguing options among offensive linemen, Stinchcomb can bench press 500 pounds and is considered a very smart player.....

Did anyone catch the crazy ending to this game today?

The Saints needed a win to keep their playoff hopes alive and were in Jacksonville. They're down 7 with 21 seconds left and its 4th down. QB Aaron Brooks completes a pass and the Saints pitch the ball around reminiscent of the Stanford band play back in the 80's. They eventually score after about 4 laterals and after a review by the officials it is ruled a Touchdown.

All they need now is the extra point to go into overtime and keep alive their playoff hopes. Well, kicker Carney missed the extra point and the Saints will miss the playoffs. What an awful way to end a season, especially after the wild and crazy play they scored on. I'd fire the kicker, that is just unacceptable.

Very true!!

Last week it was Joe Horn's phone call and this week the missed PAT, I wonder what they have up their sleeves for the Cowboys this weekend.

I feel so sorry for John Carney.

That's the kind of thing that will follow him around for the rest of his life.
