Well there are no scores or highlights to post, so here is how the poll turned out at CBSSportsline.com. They asked fans to pick their all-time NHL team, somehow I missed this.

C - Wayne Gretzky

RW - Mike Bossy

LW - Bobby Hull

RD - Bobby Orr

LD - Doug Harvey

G - Patrick Roy

Coach - Scotty Bowman

Runners-up

C- Mario Lemieux
RW- Maurice Richard
LW - Frank Mahovlich
RD - Ray Bourque
LD - Paul Coffey
G - Jacques Plante
C - Toe Blake

So is this how your team would look?

I would have to put Lemieux on one of the wings on my first line.

That wasn't possible here though because you had to vote by position.

I also think I'd have Ray Bourque instead of Doug Harvey on defense, but again Bourque was listed as a right defenseman and going against Bobby Orr.

If you click on the individual positions at the link, you'll see they did this in a bracket tournament format like the NCAA tourney. Cool idea.

i can't argue with any of the picks, they are all great players, i would have picked dryden over roy in goal, ken dryden played the single best game that i personally saw while he was in the AHL, he was playing for the montreal voyagers agaist the rochester americans and was outstanding, if he had stayed in hockey longer i believe he would have been the best all time

They had Gordie losing to Mike Bossy in the second round.

Funny though, Gordie was the #1 seed in that bracket.

Are you not a hockey fan or just young?

Drafted 15th overall in the 1977 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders, Mike Bossy began a stellar 10 year career whereby he established himself as one of the most talented snipers the game has ever seen.

In a career that began with a Calder Trophy as the NHL's Rookie of the Year, Bossy showcased his consistency with a record 9 consecutive 50+ goal seasons. As an integral part of the success of the New York Islanders' dynasty that culminated in 4 consecutive Stanley Cups between 1980 to 1983, Bossy scored the Stanley Cup winning goals two years in a row making him the only player in NHL history to have done so. In 1982, Bossy also collected the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.

Bossy's sportsmanlike behaviour on the ice has translated into 3 Lady Byng trophies as the League's most gentlemanly player and he collected a mere 210 minutes of penalties during his 10 year career.
