Tomorrow night!
Flyers center Jeremy Roenick announced on Wednesday that he will return to game action on Thursday night when the Flyers host the New York Islanders.
Roenick has missed 19 games and has been out of the lineup since a February 12 game at Madison Square Garden. The center was recovering from a broken
jaw and severe concussion resulting from a Boris Mironov slapshot that struck Roenick squarely on the lower left side of his face.
Great to see #97 back!
JR was contemplating retirement but I knew him being the warrior that he is that he would come back. He's had a long and successful career but he
still hasn't won a Cup and he knows he has a great chance this year with the Flyers and he wouldn't have missed these playoffs for anything. He's a
great player and there's no doubt that his return will be a huge emotional boost for the Flyers.
They're also close to getting back Keith Primeau and Eric Desjardins from injuries.
GO FLYERS!!!
