here is a great site that i found that is a must read for any baseball fan, SABR (society for american baseball research) is a serious group that does research into baseball history, this ambitious project is to do a biography on every player who has played in a major league game, so far they have 208 of them done and posted, all of the articles i have read are excellent....a lot of time and research goes into their projects, there is a lot to be learned about baseball and it's rich history and this site is a great place to start....
