Who do you think is going to win it?

I'm going for Vlad Guerrero because he swings so damn hard, although that may backfire on him in the later rounds; he might get tired.

btw I think its an absolute shame Jason Giambi is even allowed to participate in the contest this year with his numbers.

well, where i got this info from was dated yesterday so it's fairly accurate yet.

NL

Jim Thome
Ken Griffey Jr.
Sammy Sosa

AL

Jason Giambi

the roster is incomplete as of tuesday they need one more from the NL and 3 from the AL. i would expect that they would have all of them picked by the weekend. My pick so far would be Thome.

Well on espn's tv ads it said Vlad Guerrero was participating but now he's saying that he never said he would participate, just that it kind of interested hin.

Since Guerrero's probably out I'll change to Sosa, since he has a lot of experience in home run derbys.

Jim Thome

He has a great swing, he's huge, and he's on fire

I'd go Sosa mainly because he's a righty and that short left field porch in the "Juice Box" is really inviting to the righty...

True, but Griffey won at Fenway a few years ago.

Well, Bonds agreed to participate this year...but I'll stick with Sosa, although a little uneasily for now.

Bonds isn't used to seeing pitches. He'll be so shocked that he will screw up.
