A stunt by a Houston radio station failed to drive Roger Clemens back into baseball.

Clemens turned down a burnt orange Hummer on Monday, spurning an offer by a local car dealer to take the luxury sport utility vehicle in exchange for joining his hometown Astros by late Monday morning.
The Rocket didn't rule out ending his retirement, however.

ppphtt,

if he was serious about retiring he wouldve laid to rest any questions about him joining the Astros by now

I think he's going.

I HOPE he's going.

Roger Clemens may not be ready to retire just yet. Clemens told Newsday's Mark Herrmann that he hasn't ruled out pitching for the Astros next season.

Ben life sucks sometiimes and Roger Clemens' agent expects the pitcher to decide by the end of January whether to play for Houston this season. Clemens has been deliberating since close friend Andy Pettitte agreed to a contract with the Astros last month

The Astros continued to show they are serious about luring Roger Clemens out of retirement, reportedly offering the future Hall of Famer a one-year deal.

Looks like i was right all along...

Six-time Cy Young award winner Roger Clemens will delay his retirement and sign a contract with the Houston Astros..

He is believed to be getting a one-year contract in the $4 million range. The Astros have scheduled a news conference for Monday at 3 p.m. ET to announce the deal..

Clemens went to his hometown, thats all. I am not surprised by this at all. Houston now has what probably is the best pitching staff in the NL.
