yeah, that sounds good to me too! being just the five of us, it would be easy to arrange a time to do this.

The rules I have are not set in stone, so if anyone has ideas or a different way of playing it could be incorporated into our game.

Roster:

Teams will have a maximum of 11 players, starting lineups must include:

1B
2B
3B
shortstop
Catcher
one outfielder
two pitchers

Scoring:

single- 1 point
double-2 points
triple-3
homer-4
run-1
rbi-1
sb-2
walk-1
K's= -1
Sac-1

Pitching:

K=1 point
pick off=2 points
Innings pitched=1
runs given up= -1 per run
Win=10 points

More later......

Hopefully we can get a drfat started today or some time this week.

Just a few Questions..

Can you have the same player's as other people (not all the same) ?

Also would it be better to have 3 OF player's?

If that's how the majority wants to do it, it will be done. However, in time i'm sure there will be more members, and more members equals more players. So if we end up with 20 players that would equal 40 more players I would have to stat-track.

But hold the phone, here's an idea:

If someone were to track infielders stats and someone else track outfielder stats and another person tracked pitching stats.
We could have a full MLB starting lineup!!!

TRD, sorry that I confused you. i'm just saying that if I have to track an additional 2 outfielders per team, with 20 teams total, I would have to figure out points for 40 extra players, that's a lot of extra time.

oh yeah, in regards to your question TRD.

Once a player is taken, he is no longer available.

So if your guy hits a solo homerun, its actually 6 points right? 4 for the homer, 1 for the run, and 1 for the rbi. So a grand slam is 9, right?

One more thing, how about 10 points for a save also, if we can choose relief pitchers, what do you all think?
