Right. I feel sorry that they are their. I hope they all come home safe. Don't ask me to be glad they're there or proud of this war.

Oh really? Care to explain these rather damning statements then?

What damning statements?

"I feel sorry that they are there"...damning? no...seems empathetic....
" Don't ask me to be glad they're there or proud of this war." I already addressed this in my previous statement. I am NOT glad they are their and I am not proud of this war. How is that damning? Seems pretty clear to me. Are you saying you are glad that they are over there fighting and dying?

I will say this one last time.

I have the utmost respect for them and I wish them safety. If I could do something to prove that, I would.

Again, I do not and will never support this war. That does not mean I think negative on those that are fighting it. They are doing their job. I am proud of them for it.

But saying your not proud of the work their doing is like watching someone put up a house for minimal pay in order to help others, then having someone like you walk up and say, "Well, I respect the fact that you tried, but that houses sucks.

theres a bit of a difference between building homes and blowing them up....

It was a metaphorical example, genius.

hey moron..your the one comparing the building of homes to the act of killing.... you need to find a better comparison so you dont look so stupid!!

It doesn't seem to be worth much unless you think they are doing a good job. Imagine this, its as simple as possible.

Your playing football. Your team ran a play that was slightly controversial because it bends a few rules. You ran this play because your coach told your team to. You one. A fan comes up and says, after you worked very hard, "well, I'm proud of you for trying out there."

You would be thinking, "I know they don't agree with me, but they could at least acknowledge I did what I did well."

Straightforward question, only requires a yes or no. Do you believe the troops are doing a good job in Iraq, even though you don't think they should be in Iraq?

I was not comparing building a house to killing people, I was comparing the support you recieve for both. You have to look past the simple actions the people are performing. I was comparing the reactions they get, not what they were doing.

I cannot answer that question with a simple yes or no. In the beginning, they did an amazing job, they went in and cleaned house. Now, they are being faced with suicide bombers and whatever else. So in this new environment, I can say they are doing their job to the best of their ability in the current situation they are in. Does that make sense? There are no clear rules of engagement. They are handling themselves as best they can when faced with the types of attacks they are encountering. Does that mean they are doing a good job? It means they are doing the best job they can.

2) Blaming a typical serviceman for this war puts one on the intelligence level of a chair. Congratulations.

1) Many tryed to use this argument. It was in 1945, at the nazis Nuremberg trial.

2) I agree with you. Blaming the soldiers is stupid and not fair.

Now US Patriot, I've a question 4 u. Did you ever wear a uniform ? Rangers ? Marines ? Gi's ? Fireworker ? Something else ?

Alright, I accept that.

I may not agree, but I finally think it is a supported opinion

Sorry, but I think you have to have a drone mentality to join the services in the first place. Sell myself to the gov't like some kind of whore? Not on your life.

You only say that cause you've been exposed to some truths. STFU then who cares if you don't care about wheter or not your place has been taken by some poor kid from the U.S. UK, ITALY et cetera....you ungreatful person.

Of course I've been exposed to truths. If you feel that strongly about them, then why would you want to send them to Iraq? The only thing worse than war, is unnecessary war. The only thing worse than fighting an unnecessary war, is believing you're doing it for a good reason.
BTW, what are you doing here? Why aren't you in Iraq, taking the place of some poor kid from the U.S., UK, ITALY, etc.?
