Curse on Presidents?

Guys, my history teacher told me about a curse on the Presidents every some years from some Indian Prophet.

He also told me that the curse was broken, I don't remember very well.

Care to clarify?

Almost every president elected in an election year ending with a zero has been shot.

Last one was Reagon and before that was Kennedy.

One theory says that this is an Indian curse steming from the president stealing Indian land or at least not stoping it.

Does that include Lincoln, I remember him saying Abe was in that list, Bush and a couple more.

Yes and a few other presidents, Grant I think.

Was that curse given by an Indian Prohet, I think it was in the time Monroe was the president and Andrew Jackson was a U.S. General.

Look what happens when a President gets elected in a year with a "0" at the end. Also notice it goes in increments of 20 years.

1840: William Henry Harrison (died in office)

1860: Abraham Lincoln (assassinated)

1880: James A. Garfield (assassinated)

1900: William McKinley (assassinated)

1920: Warren G. Harding (died in office)

1940: Franklin D. Roosevelt (dies in office)

1960: John F. Kennedy (assassinated)

1980: Ronald Reagan (survived assassination attempt)

2000: George W. Bush ????????????

And to think that we had two guys fighting it out in the courts to be the one elected in 2000.

Chief Tecumseh cursed William Henry Harrison before he took presidential office. Does the curse still linger?

On February 7, a former IRS agent was found just outside the fence on the southwestern side of the White House, brandishing a handgun. It was reported that several wild shots were fired before Secret Service officers disabled the man by shooting him in the knee. The public was quickly reassured that although President George W. Bush was in the White House at the time, his life was never in danger.

People were always crawling the fence to get at Clinton. It was hysterical because he was such a bad president.

Legend has it that, after the battle of Tippecanoe in 1811, the Shawnee chief Tecumseh sent Gen. William Henry Harrison a message. Delivered by released prisoners, the chief's words are supposed to have been a prophecy that history has labeled "Tecumseh's Curse": "Harrison will not win this year to be the great chief. But he may win next year. If he does ... he will not finish his term. He will die in office."

"But Chief Tecumseh, no president has ever died in office," one prisoner reportedly argued. "Harrison will die, I tell you," Tecumseh is said to have insisted. "And when he dies you will remember the deaths of my people. You think that I have lost my powers: I who caused the sun to darken and red men to give up firewater. But I tell you Harrison will die. And after him, every great chief chosen every twenty years thereafter will die. And when each one dies, let everyone remember the death of our people."

Wow! my history teacher also told me about this curse way back when i was in junior high, but i guess the curse is now broken since ronnie survived office, and looks like bush will also
