Whatever you do...don't try to control it...no one likes a control freak...especially someone who smokes. If you don't like it...leave...smoking is too damn hard to quit...it's like crack..but calmer...and less harmful. Otherwise...buy a gas mask...kinda hard to be intimate through one...hehe.

Unfortunately smoking is a touchy subject for those who aren't currently interested in quitting.

You have to weigh the pros & cons. Is it worth finding out whether you are susceptible to diseases like lung cancer via 2nd hand smoke? If she becomes your life partner, can you accept the possibility she could die prematurely from getting lung cancer?

Sorry for the downer. But that's the way I look at it.

Show her:

1. An x-ray of a healthy lung, vs one of a long time smoker (you can find them on a web)...

2. Watch an episode of Jerry Springer. Theres always at least one trailer marm who's obviously been smoking and drinking most of her life, and it's easy to spot... She'll end up looking like that at 40...

Appealing to a woman's vanity is the best way to stop her smoking...as some mentioned though, don't be gung ho about it...

You can...

1. get a slight look of disgust on your face every time she lights up, but don't mention anything verbal, and steer it away of she comments on it...

2. comment on things like red eyes, small wrinkles starting to show, etc. (even better if you can mention these to her girlfriends instead...who will then comment on it leaving you more in the clear)...

3. take her to places to eat that she enjoys, but that she may have never noticed, as not allowing smoking....

Damn straight I don't want to smell nasty ass ciggs every time that girl came near.

I'd just been an ass, be like GOD wtf is that horrible odor? OH NM it's your clothes from tobacco smoke.

the real deal is...

Why the hell start smoking tobacco? It doesn't get you high, there is no instant pleasure, you must first become addicted to them by your own choice to view them as instant pleasure.

The smoke from tobacco hurts to even inhale, I wonder why it's easier to inhale weed smoke.

1 inhale off a cig and I am ready to wretch.

I saw in canada at a "coffee shop" a NO smoking sign, which meant NO tobacco... Chronic smoke only allowed

Seriously though I've never smelled "fresh" tobacco be burned perhaps it is different.

I just find ciggarettes disgusting, mmm additives.

I haven't had a cigarette for a whole month as of today. I've been smoking for 26 years.

I was told I'd be dead in a couple of years if I keep smoking now.

That's the kind of incentive you need to quit.

I hope I can keep it up, this week has been hell.

Hey zzub gluck man, my 17 yr old sister quit after me telling how disgusting ciggs are.

Not really a life time smoker but she half a pack a day for 4 yrs, my mother doesn't care if we smoke, she use to buy me ciggs when I was younger.

really proud of my sister

I hope you stick to it, for your own health.

PS: Just wanted to say I could care less what anyone does, if they want to smoke ciggarettes be my guest, I just wish they respect me and not smoke their death sticks around me.
