Obviously, this action by the MSC is not IAW anything the Founders envisioned, and this is ironic being this is in Mass.

Maynard, look at the bottom of one of your posts, and you'll find a button called "find posts". It'll look up all your posts for you.
Best button I've encountered since my "Hoffa For President" button!

Good for Massechusetts. Its about damn time people put an end to gay marriage bans.

if people ever really thought and looked into the truth about marriage and its history, people would see it for what it is: a transfer of property and ownership of a woman within legal bounds to ensure everything of hers was his.

Now its the other way around.

Does it matter? marriage is a legal contract mthat has nothing to do with love. Most married couples ahte each other anyway.

It is the undisputable domain of each religion to not allow it, but civil. no way, it's a valid partnership.

Skadi, damn!

No buds & petals, just thorns, huh?

Bout time.......

When one considers the huge divorce rates and unhappy marriages of heteosexuals and all the domestic violence, disputes, ect......

We see Marriage has nothing to do with love, just legalities and property.

If religous dudes dont want to offer weddings to gays, then they dont have to marry the gays. In case evryone forgot, secular weddings through the justice of the peace have been the way to go for people in a hurry, no money, or religous affiliation.

Marriage isnt a religous institution, its a legal one, and if two grown men or women wanna take the plunge, what right do a bunch of child molesting perverts with gods stamp of approval have to deny them?

personally i'm all for equal rights for homosexuals. while everyone obviously isn't gona agree with homosexuality, it think its important we have tolerance for the differences of others regardless of what we personally believe in. hell, theres plenty of people out there that i dont agree with either but that dosn't mean i dont repect thier right to have thier own views and beliefs.

Skadi

Thank Bejjebus it's not done by stats!

Just wait until you meet the right person, or discover the right person is someone you've already met.
After the visceral-sweaty-jungle-love-ripped-the-sheets-sorry-I-made-your-head-ram-a-hole-in-the-headboard-but-you-liked-it-anyway-sex phase goes from everyday to more spaced out with the tantric-tight-enveloping-breathing sort of thing interspersed, you start to think about how every aspect of well being can posisibly be accounted for to safeguard the one who makes your toes cramp if you're not there to do it in person. That = marriage.

Cabeesh?

If religous dudes dont want to offer weddings to gays,

religious "dudes" dont have to offer weddings to anybody they dont want to,gay or not.....so making it illegal for gays to to wed is really just pointless bureaucracy and goes against "the persuit of happiness" part of the constitution....i.e. its nobodies buisness...butt out..
