colonel take it from someone who lives in toronto, you'd love toronto,
we got a left-leaning city council,
provincially, the liberal's are in power
federally- the liberals have a monopoly in canadian politics and will most likely win the next election, I might not like it, but you would, maybe sometime we can

and as for getting a job the birth rate in canada is so low that the economy relies on immigrants

The kicker in getting overseas to any other 1st world country is "What do you DO?"

The best professions to travel on as far as I know are
teaching
medical - doctors, nurses etc
drug runners - short job career.
engineers,
Tradepeople - fitter and turners etc
