Where's all the alien tech. to fight terrorism?

Okay, all you conspiracy nuts out there, riddle me this--why haven't we found bin Laden, and destroyed all the terrorist cells in the world with all the supposed alien technology we acquired?

Why are so many of our soldiers and Iraqi civilians dieing in Iraq if we have the technology to prevent them?

I just don't get why the government would hold out on all this technology when it could save so many lives.

Is it just that our government doesn't care about the lives of our soldiers and Iraqi civilians? Or is it that we never had such technology in the first place? If we have Star Trek-like cloaking technology, why aren't we using it to keep our soldiers hidden?
