Will this help Israel ?

With the recent decision to send more naval prescence to the Gulf, More ships in the Gulf , will this encourage or incite Israel to do something .... drastic.

With more military prescence from the USA, will this give Israel a sense of security or support, where as they may do something in retaliation to all the threats received from Iran?

They have used the US as a big brother before, might they use this as another show of force from their camp as well?

I am hoping they sit back and keep quiet.

Could this be a possible motive by the US to pave the way for Israel to attack Iran, thus putting them in the middle and inturn, getting the reason for war with Iran.

I think this is exactly what they intend to do. They know that if they strike while American military is in the way, that a hit to American troops will give Bush the power to call for war. If israel decides to make any moves while Americans are within range this should be taken as a hostile act. If they want to attack Iran it should be done when our men and women are clear and safe from harm.

I think America has spent more then enough on a wasted war in Iraq and we should concentrate on America for a little while.

I couldn't agree more. The USA should get the troops home and start worrying about their internal problems rather than others.

What kind of shape would things be in if Israel DID attempt an attack on Iran in the presence of the USA.

Would the USA step in automatically or would there be preparation time initiated? Makes me wonder how much force would be needed in that area if the time comes.

We will have to fight a war with Iran sooner or later. They are attempting to develop nuclear weapons, and once they have them, make no mistake, they will use them against the U.S. and our allies.

People need to understand that the very nature of radical Islam does not allow peace to exist until Western Civilization has been annihilated. Do you really think the Middle East will relax if the U.S. leaves? If you do, you're a moron.

They are constantly at war with us regardless of whether we're at war with them. If we leave them alone, they'll send planes into our buildings and chop of the heads of American tourists.

Am I saying we should go ahead and invade Iran? No, no, no. That would be a disaster. But we need to accept that we need to do something about them.
