OK, for any newer members who might be reading this. Pretty much the only person on the boards who judges other posters by their post count seems to be UP himself, not surprisingly he is also the highest poster on the board.

Noone here will judge you by the total amount of posts you have, what matters is the quality of your posts. A poster with half a dozen or so well thought out, thoughtful, informative posts is far more respected than newbies who post hundreds of 'me too' stupid posts. So please don't think you are raising your status by replying to every thread you see in an attempt to raise your post count. Because in truth you are likely to do more damage.

Amen, Kano -quality wherever possible: cut'n'paste and Wow LOL- in great moderation.
The posting-numbers are a couple of clicks away on the Board for everyone to see (should he/she be interested) and, in any case, remember that Mods/Admins are also "posting" off the Board -as it were -so their totals are not arrived at in quite the same way.

And it isn't only "posts" - starting a new "topic" should involve a little thought -especially when potentially rewarding topics are spoilt by split-threads.
We have the "Chit Chat" etc for whimsicalities, odds and ends and jolly japes -but when that spreads to the "serious boards, it's often not helpful, as far as the ethos and standing of ATS are concerned.

I'm sorry Kano, but I didn't understand his post. So, keep your false assertions for yourself please.

I asked you to be more cool with me. Sometimes I don't understand the meaning of a post, even if this post is looking " simple ". That's what happened with FM post. Simple, clear and I understand the words, but not the meaning !

And I don't think that my post counters is an important things !!!
