I was just thinking to myself about dreams and aliens.. which I do quite often and was wondering whether or not alien abductions could simply be a lucid dream?.. a lucid dream where your abducted, im sure if in one of my lucid dreams I was abducted then id more than likely know its just a dream as im familiar with lucid dreaming but..... if the person claiming theyve been abducted had never experienced a lucid dream before, then there obviously going to believe it actually happened. Those who are experienced with lucid dreaming might be able to see where im coming from on this one more than others.

Any thoughts??

I guess it's possible that. the only problem is when you start to get on physicall matter (scars, triangle shape burns) and that kidnd of things, has happen to myself and that is something that you would say, maybe that not an entire lucid drems, something happen..i guess any human know when something happen or something is not right...or it should be...

Hope someday we could find the answer...

I can't explain away the physical evidence that comes with some claims of abduction, however i think most claims of alien abduction are just forms of a sleeping disorder. Hypnagogic sensations occur with sleep paralisys, where the sleeper can think that they are surrounded by malicious beings, after this stage the can go into a dream state, where the actual abduction and being brought into a ship, etc begins.
