Yeah, but that screenshot is really an injustice to the actual gameplay footage. That game is going to be awesome, well at least half a year or more down the line when i have a PS3

resistance looks awesome, and i love the makers, BUT halo3 and GOW both look to own this game. i used to tolerate fps on consoles until i played the rising sun moh on the cube. this is when i realized fps dont belong on a console with a controller. fps with an analog controller is bunk when u are used to a mouse and keyboard.

gears of war

Well, I haven't played Resistance, so i can't say how it plays, but Gears of War is an awesome game. I love the style of it, the use of cover throughout the whole game is nice. I think the style of play might be better for Gears of War, but again, all I can say about Resistance is that it looks good because i have yet to play it.

The Gears of War series may cause me to get a 360 later down the line, but who knows. Still getting a PS3 first, and then way later a new graphics card or a 360. I have to say though, i've played FPS on both PC and console, and for me it's way better with the controller. But then again I wasn't raised on a PC either, I just got one that's decent enough to play games, but i still need to get a new graphics card.

ive never been a fan of halo either, mostly because i cant stand fps with a controller. ive played part 2 and it was decent multiplayer, BUT again the stupid controller. after seeing the commercial for halo 3 though i finally realize why people think master chief is a bad ass.

i agree with u lysergic, valve knows how to make fps. my online clan wants me to get source but i know it will take too much time from my life so im happy with condition zero.

I have the game and already started a clan.

i got to play resistance the other day, and i have to say that it was horribly fun

unlike most games where weapons are easily swapped for the same situation, resistance forces you to pick out the best gun for the situation

damn, i really wish i had a PS3 to play it on
or at least a PC version

GoW is fun, but it's like a popcorn movie
Resistance seems more like a small epic

Resistance rocks!

It is so much fun to play, it even seeped into my dreams for those few days we were playing lol Weird and a lil scary but fun all the same.
