I was sitting at home in New York City today, watching television with my father. I don't have cable so I used an old FM antenna, the wire type that
comes with a stereo, and made it pick up a few tv channels. We were watching channel 25, which is a public channel like PBS, when a helicopter began
flying over my building.
That in itself isn't too weird since helicopters fly down the west side all the time to land at the heliport a little ways down. However, as the
helicopter got closer the signal on the television got worse. I'm sure it was directly related as the closer it got the worse the signal became.
When the helicopter was directly over my building the signal was completely messed up, it was making vertical S shaped waves that moved down the
screen. As the the helicopter began to get further away, heading south, the signal became that much better until I couldn't hear the helicopter
anymore and the signal was perfect again.
Now, I'm not going to jump to any conclusions but even my father though it was weird and noticed it without my saying anything. This has never
happened before as far as I can remember even though helicopters fly by here all the time. I do, however, see some weird things such as the
FujiFilm/NYPD surveillance blimp (Yes, the same one from that Alex Jones video).
Am I unaware of a normal dirsturbance that can be caused by a helicopter or is this something a bit more mysterious? Could it have been an NYPD
surveillance chopper maybe operating a FLIR or radar device? I doubt it was a FLIR now that I think about it as it was 2:50 pm and it's only
slightly overcast.
Before I jump to conclusions I need to know if anyone else knows of somthing normal that could have caused this.
