Final Fantasy VII on PS3

I was wondering, who thinks square should remake FF VII on the PS3?

Wasn't there a rumor a while back that they were gonna remake it?

If square would do this, i would buy a PS3 for this reason alone.

Yep. But that's all it was. A rumor. Square released a technical demonstration of the FFVII intro to show the power of the PS3. This is what sparked the rumor. Square-Enix has confirmed that there will be no remake or re-release.(Unfortunately)

They did a PS2 FF VII tech demo as well which sparked the exact same rumor. Deja vu.

I'd sell my soul for a remake of ff7.

actually i might try and emulate ff7 ps0n3 version.

It was like 5-6 years ago. Good luck finding it. It was just a small 15 second demonstration of Sephiroth walking through fire in PS1 graphics then it morphed into PS2 graphics as he passed through them.
